Avvoka raises £14m from Valhalla Ventures to scale its legal drafting platform.
The funding round was led by Preqin founder Mark O'Hare through Valhalla Ventures.
Avvoka provides contract automation and drafting infrastructure for law firms and corporate legal teams. The platform combines document automation with AI capabilities to help organisations manage high-volume legal work.
Legaltech platform Avvoka has secured £14m in growth funding in its first institutional round, led by Valhalla Ventures. The company, which was bootstrapped following its 2016 launch, previously raised £600k from angel investors.
Founded by former Magic Circle lawyers Eliot Benzecrit and David Howorth, Avvoka provides document automation and drafting infrastructure to major legal firms, including over 20% of the Am Law 100. The fresh capital will be deployed to accelerate expansion in the United States and enhance the platform capabilities for complex, high-volume legal work.
