€1.5MSeries A

Automata develops modular hardware and software automation platforms designed to modernise life science laboratories. Its technology helps researchers increase experiment throughput while reducing costs and error rates.

Automata has secured €1.5m in private investments as part of its ongoing Series A funding round, adding to previous capital to bring its total funds raised to €2m. The company plans to target a total raise of €7m to support its ongoing development.

The capital was raised through an equity token offering, allowing members of the public to acquire real equity and become shareholders in the company. Funds will be directed toward product development, the evolution of proprietary technology, and the rollout of its Wealth Card to the UK market.

The company combines retail digital banking with automated fractional investments and payment solutions. Its platform allows customers to hold assets and spend directly using invested capital through a proprietary asset exchange.

From the founder

"Banks are and have always been so conservative, and they don’t mix with technology as they should. We are developing and merging cutting edge technology to provide the next generation of banking for people. A single platform where your money is always invested and working for you, while being instantly accessible for your daily needs."
