The financing round was led by Edinv alongside Tileyard London and MPL Ventures.
Audoo is a British music technology company that provides data collection solutions for public performance royalties. The firm supplies devices and insights platforms to track music played in public venues.
London music tech company Audoo has secured £7.2m in pre-series B funding to drive its international expansion across Europe, North America, and the APAC regions. The round was led by existing investor Edinv, with participation from Tileyard London and new backer MPL Ventures. This latest capital injection brings the firm total investment to over £14m and more than doubles its valuation in under a year.
Founded in 2018, Audoo has created the patented Audoo Audio Meter, a small plug-in device that monitors music played in commercial spaces such as bars, gyms, and shops. The technology aims to resolve longstanding transparency challenges for performing right organisations and collective management organisations, ensuring artists and rights holders receive fair compensation for public broadcasts.
From the founder
"We are proud to have secured even more investment as part of our mission to help ensure artists are paid fairly after decades of missing out due to outdated processes. The mission is everything to us, and to have the continued support from our musical heroes like Björn further helps deliver our vision globally."
