AudioMob secures £10.3m Series A funding from Makers Fund and Lightspeed Venture Partners to expand operations.
The Series A round was led by Makers Fund and Lightspeed Venture Partners to support team expansion and technology development.
AudioMob develops in-game audio advertising solutions that bridge opportunities between audio and mobile gaming. The company enables developers to monetise games without harming player retention.
AudioMob has secured £10.3m in Series A funding led by Makers Fund and Lightspeed Venture Partners. Additional backing came from Google and various music artists, bringing the company's total investment to date to $16m.
Founded in 2020 by Christian Facey and Wilfrid Obeng, the company plans to use the capital to expand its teams in London and Abu Dhabi, develop experimental audio technology, and file further international patents.
The raise follows recent client successes with major brands and artists, alongside platform availability across thousands of games globally.

Investor perspective
"Part of Makers Fund’s mission is to bring new industries, companies, and ideas into the interactive entertainment industry and Audiomob is a great example: connecting audio and games sectors whilst generating significant value for both. This is our first investment into the audio and advertising space and we are confident that Audiomob will transform audio from an afterthought into a new opportunity to improve user experience, not only as a non-interrupting advertising channel in mobile games but in the whole mobile ecosystem."
