Lansdowne Investment Company Cyprus backed the Cambridge developer to fund headcount growth and product acceleration.
AttoCore develops scalable and flexible 4G and 5G core network software solutions for various deployment scenarios. The technology is particularly suited for private networks, neutral host systems, and rural fixed wireless access.
Cambridge-based AttoCore has secured growth private equity investment from Lansdowne Investment Company Cyprus Ltd. The funding will allow the company to increase headcount and accelerate the development of its 4G and 5G core network solutions, including the Atto5GC and AttoEPC platforms. Furthermore, the capital will support AttoCore in addressing key markets such as private networks in Europe and the USA.
The investment arrives as global interest in 5G accelerates and regulators release spectrum suitable for non-public deployments. AttoCore has already supplied its products to several non-public networks and aims to capitalise on growing demand from enterprise systems integrators.
From the founder
"The growing interest in non-public networks creates a significant opportunity for AttoCore’s scalable and flexible 4G and 5G core network solutions. We are very grateful to LICC for their support, enabling us to rapidly bring to market and further enhance Atto5GC. Atto5GC provides systems integrators with a 5G Standalone Core, suitable for enterprise use and differentiated from the large vendors by flexibility, scalability, performance and price."
