£2.3M

Cornwall-based Earth Observation technology company developing AI-driven solutions to deliver uninterrupted satellite imaging data.

Aspia Space has secured a £2.3m funding round, featuring a £1m investment from the British Business Bank's South West Investment Fund via The FSE Group. The Cornwall-based company will use the capital to support the expansion of its land intelligence platform and drive commercial growth.

Founded in 2021, the company applies machine learning to Earth Observation data through its ClearSky and EarthPT technologies. The tools aim to provide consistent land intelligence by removing the obstacle of cloud cover, serving sectors from agriculture to environmental monitoring.

The business plans to increase its headcount by 10 roles over the coming year as part of its longer-term expansion strategy.
