AskEd has secured £100k in pre-seed funding at a £2m valuation from a group of angel investors. The capital arrives alongside the commercial launch of the company's voice AI recruitment platform.
Founded by higher education veterans Stefan Parker and John Crick, the startup builds conversational tools designed to handle prospective student enquiries around the clock and in more than 70 languages. The technology draws on verified institutional content and integrates with existing software.
The business has also gained backing from Tech Growth Lab in Brighton, Dohe and ElevenLabs, whose voice AI underpins the product. The fresh capital supports the initial rollout of the Essentials software suite.
