ART Health Solutions secures £800k pre-seed investment from Mercia to scale workplace wellbeing platform
The North East Venture Fund backed the Gateshead-based employee wellbeing platform to fund product development and hiring.
ART Health Solutions develops mobile technology that assesses employee health and wellbeing through smartphone data, fitness trackers and cognitive performance tests. The Newcastle-based company provides corporate clients and employers with aggregated insights to optimise workplace environments.
ART Health Solutions has secured £800k in pre-seed funding from the North East Venture Fund, managed by Mercia. The capital will enable the Gateshead-based firm to expand its team and further develop its One Wellbeing platform. The company was founded by sport and exercise scientists who previously consulted for elite athletes and major corporations. Mercia noted that the technology allows smaller firms to introduce employee wellbeing programmes at a modest cost.
