Newcastle-based employee wellbeing technology provider ART Health Solutions has secured £1m in fresh funding from the North East Venture Fund, with support from the European Regional Development Fund and management by Mercia. The capital injection follows an initial investment of £800k in January 2022 and will allow the founders to further enhance their One Wellbeing mobile application while creating approximately ten new roles. The company was established by sports scientists with a background in elite athletics to deliver remote data collection tools and corporate consultancy.
The One Wellbeing platform evaluates staff health by combining data from smartphones and fitness devices with cognitive performance metrics and environmental schedules. This allows corporate clients to monitor workforce wellbeing and secure actionable workplace insights.
