London based Arrakis deploys artificial intelligence agents to assist deskless industrial workers across sectors such as energy and aerospace.
London based industrial artificial intelligence startup Arrakis has secured $30m in a Series A funding round led by Blossom Capital. Existing backer Accel also participated alongside Global Founders Capital, MainObject, and Rerail, bringing the company total capital raised to $38m over the past six months.
The financing attracted personal investments from high profile technology figures including Datadog chief executive Olivier Pomel, OpenAI business products head Olivier Godement, and angel investor Junaid Hussain. Arrakis deploys on site engineers and custom platforms to integrate artificial intelligence into legacy procurement and logistics systems for industrial clients.
The fresh capital will be directed towards tripling the headcount, upgrading platform security, and establishing new offices in New York and the Middle East. The startup aims to address critical operational bottlenecks for industrial enterprises operating in sectors like aerospace and energy.
From the founder
"The West is under growing pressure to reindustrialise, but that renaissance won’t be powered by net new companies alone. It requires equipping our industrial champions with the tools to harness their data, navigate the AI transition and compete on a global stage. That’s exactly why we founded Arrakis"
Rafael Quintanilla
Chief Executive at Arrakis
Investor perspective
"Rafael and the Arrakis team have an exceptional combination of technical depth, operational expertise and commercial ambition. While many companies are focused on AI applications at the edge of the enterprise, Arrakis is tackling some of the most complex operational challenges facing large industrial organisations. Their early traction demonstrates both the scale of the opportunity and the demand for solutions that deliver measurable outcomes."
