Aquaint secures £200k in pre-seed funding from Praetura Ventures to expand its hospitality platform
Praetura Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund product enhancement and team expansion.
Aquaint provides a workflow application tailored for the hospitality and food service sectors. The platform offers features for training, project management, maintenance, and communications.
Aquaint has secured £200k in a pre-seed funding round led by Praetura Ventures. The company was selected out of more than 200 applicants to Praetura's inaugural PraeSeed Programme.
The capital will be allocated towards building a premium version of the application, expanding product development and sales teams, and strengthening technical infrastructure to support larger clients.
Over the past year, Aquaint has added former CFO Barry Nightingale to its board, welcomed Rohan Patel to head client communications, and secured grant funding for an Internet of Things thermometer project.
From the founder
"Aquaint are thrilled to be selected as one of the best early-stage tech companies in the north to receive funding from Praetura Ventures. This funding is a massive step forward for Aquaint and our mission to empower the hospitality and food service sectors with smarter, easier workflow solutions. It’s also a testament to the hard work of our team and the trust our early customers have placed in us. We’re excited to build, grow, and make an even bigger impact in the year ahead!"
