Apperio raises $7m from Molten Ventures and other backers to expand in the US
Molten Ventures led the $7m round to support product development and international expansion.
Apperio provides legal spend analytics and matter-tracking software that helps corporate counsel and law firms monitor expenditures. The platform offers visibility into work-in-progress and accruals to improve invoicing speed and transparency.
Apperio, a London-based legal tech startup, has raised $7m in funding led by Molten Ventures. The round included participation from IQ Capital, Nextlaw Ventures, Notion Capital, Volution, and Hambro Perks.
The capital will be directed towards product development for corporate counsel and expanding the company footprint in the United States. This investment brings the total raised by the firm to $19.9m.
The platform currently connects more than 250 global law firms and provides in-house legal teams with real-time insight into external legal spending.
