Hospitality technology platform connecting consumers with real-time venue availability to combat last-minute cancellations.
London-based hospitality technology startup Ambl has secured £700k in its third pre-seed funding round from its extended network, bringing its total funding to £1.3m.
The capital will support team growth, product development, and a soft debut in Chelsea ahead of an official London launch in September 2022. The round follows backing from existing investor and serial entrepreneur Mark Gordon.
The company is concurrently raising an additional £1.2m through a fourth pre-seed round to prepare for a future Series A and subsequent national and international expansion.
Investor perspective
"The concept of Ambl was something I could easily relate to. There was no doubt in my mind, it was a great idea, however, I could see some challenges they would have to overcome with venue adoption and of course the usual pitfalls that exist such as developing succinct messaging when educating consumers in a new marketplace."
