Amba Defence secures £256k from Midven to expand its product range and team.

Midven backed the security and defence firm through its Exceed Fund to support expansion plans.

Amba Defence provides specialist safety, security, and defence equipment alongside monitoring services for governments and private clients. The company operates from Kidderminster and delivers bespoke solutions across consultancy and technology divisions.

Amba Defence has secured £256k in venture capital funding from Midven to support its ongoing expansion. The investment, delivered through the Exceed Fund, will be directed towards product development and hiring new personnel.

Formed just over a year ago, the Kidderminster-based firm develops and manufactures advanced security technologies in the UK, including its flagship under-vehicle inspection system. The business operates across four divisions to serve national infrastructure and international governments.

Midven backed the round to help accelerate the company's growth within the security sector. The funding marks an important milestone as the business scales its operations and develops its team.
