AirSmat secures £70k pre-seed investment from Zetogon to launch its agricultural software in Nigeria.
Zetogon backed the pre-seed round to help fund the commercial launch of SmatCrows.
AirSmat is a software company that provides artificial intelligence and drone data solutions for the agricultural sector. The Nigerian enterprise focuses on helping businesses collect, manage, and interpret aerial data.
AirSmat has secured £70k in a pre-seed funding round from UK-based Zetogon. The Nigerian software company will direct the capital towards launching its flagship product, SmatCrows, for customers in Nigeria.
The freshly injected funds will support the commercial rollout of software services designed to assist farmers with artificial intelligence driven data. Management notes that the technology aims to improve agricultural yields and operational efficiency across the continent.
The enterprise plans to officially introduce SmatCrows in Nigeria during October, with subsequent launches scheduled across other African markets by the second quarter of 2021.
