Adzuna secures £1.5m via Crowdcube to fund international expansion and platform development.
The job search engine raised capital from over 400 backers through the equity crowdfunding platform.
Adzuna operates a prominent European job search engine that aggregates job listings and provides salary valuation tools for applicants.
Job search platform Adzuna has secured £1.5m through an equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube to support international growth and technology development.
The capital injection follows backing from more than 400 individual investors, including prominent industry figures such as Sherry Coutu and Klaus Nyengaard. The company previously attracted investment from venture capital firms including Index Ventures, The Accelerator Group, and Passion Capital.
Founded in 2011 by veterans of Gumtree, Qype, and Zoopla, the platform currently attracts six million monthly visits and lists over one million vacancies in the UK. The latest funds will be deployed to scale operations globally and refine its search and machine learning capabilities.
