Adtec Healthcare develops non-invasive Cold Plasma medical devices for wound care and infection control. The company spun out from Adtec Plasma Technology in 2023.

Adtec Healthcare has secured £9m in strategic backing from AIPO Fund and SG Biomedical to support its international growth. The funding will enable the company to develop a new medical device, seek approval to enter the US market, and increase its manufacturing capacity. AIPO Fund led the investment, bringing fresh capital and sector expertise alongside SG Biomedical.

From the founder

"We’re entering a transformative period for Adtec Healthcare. This investment from AIPO Fund and SG Biomedical not only provides the capital we need to expand globally but also reflects shared confidence in our vision: to make Cold Plasma a globally recognised and adopted standard in infection control and wound care. We’re proud of what our team has built, and excited to move forward with strong, experienced partners by our side."
