Beringea led the £9m investment to help the Manchester-based company expand its engineering and sales teams.
AccessPay provides bank integration solutions that streamline corporate treasury and finance operations. Headquartered in Manchester, the firm helps large organisations manage cash visibility and banking processes.
Manchester-based fintech firm AccessPay has raised £9m in a funding round led by Beringea, with participation from US investors True Ventures and Route 66. The investment ranks among the largest ever secured by a financial technology company in the North of England.
Founded in 2012, AccessPay provides a platform that links corporate back-end systems with global banking networks to improve security and efficiency in cash management. The company serves more than 500 corporate clients across the UK, including Barclays, ITV, and the AA.
The fresh capital will be deployed to expand the firm's sales, marketing, and engineering teams while further developing its software platform. This financing follows the opening of Beringea's new Manchester office, established to support scaling regional technology enterprises.
From the founder
"The world of banking and financial management has changed and continues to do so at pace. Legislation, customer demand and rapid advances in technology, mean the choice of banking and financial services providers available to finance and treasury teams, especially those looking to transform their operations, is greater than ever before."

Investor perspective
"Beringea seeks to back thoroughbreds that can become lasting successes. Corporate payments have not seen the same level of innovation as consumer payments. AccessPay’s platform solves a big pain point for large corporates. We were really impressed with the team and Anish’s leadership and we look forward to joining them on this journey to harness a global market opportunity."
