London analytics platform 9fin has secured $170m in Series C funding at a valuation of $1.3bn, pushing its total capital raised past $250m. The round was led by HarbourVest, with participation from CPP Investments and existing backers Redalpine, Highland Europe, Spark Capital, and Seedcamp.
The fresh capital will be directed towards strengthening core technology, expanding proprietary datasets, and accelerating growth in the United States. Additional funds will support recruitment across artificial intelligence, engineering, and data teams in the UK and Ireland as the firm scales its global credit market offerings.
Founded in 2016, 9fin aims to modernise the $145 trillion debt capital markets sector by replacing fragmented manual research with a unified platform. The company currently serves over 300 institutions, including major banks, asset managers, and law firms, and has recorded consistent annual recurring revenue growth alongside rapid expansion in North America.
