3sun Group provides products and engineering services to the global energy sector, specialising in oil and gas and offshore wind operations.
Energy services provider 3sun Group has secured £10m in growth capital from Business Growth Fund to accelerate its domestic and international expansion. The funding follows six years of steady growth for the Great Yarmouth-based firm, which operates across the oil and gas and offshore wind markets.
The investment will primarily support the company in expanding its headquarters, scaling its workforce, and pursuing further commercial opportunities in the UK and northern Europe. 3sun Group currently employs 240 staff across multiple bases and anticipates adding significant headcount over the coming years.
Business Growth Fund led the financing round, which marks the investor's first deployment in the East of England. The transaction was managed by a deal team including Chris Hodges, Mark Nunny, Jessica Zoutsos, and Mike Sibson.
