The Leeds spinout secured backing led by Northern Gritstone to prepare its microfluidic device for human trials.

Our goal is to make IVF more effective, more predictable, and ultimately more hopeful for those striving to start a family."
The Norwich-based drug discovery startup emerged from stealth with backing from SynBioVen, Start Codon, UKI2S, Twin Path Ventures, Wren Capital, angels, and Innovate UK.

The drug discovery field desperately needs new chemical space and the vaccine field needs new adjuvants, with supply chains that work for everyone. By combining AI with plant engineering, we can reach molecules others cannot, and scale them in a way that supports global health, not just high-income markets."
Surface Ventures led the pre-seed round to support product development and team expansion.

Earlybird led the pre-seed round for the robotics infrastructure platform, which also launched a free academic programme.

The pre-seed round was led by Outward VC and will support team expansion and international growth.
